About Us
Driven to create events where every attendee is rewarded and thrilled
Cascade Horse Shows celebrates your passion for the horse by producing exceptional hunter jumper events that delight competitors and spectators alike.
Our show season spans June through September, with four thrilling USEF-rated hunter jumper equestrian events set in the beautiful, horse-friendly Washington State Horse Park. Our show rings are conveniently located within an easy drive from Seattle and its many attractions, and admnission and spectator parking are always free.
Our shows deliver elevated sporting experiences with Grand Prix showjumping, USHJA National Hunter Derbies, equitation medal qualifiers, children’s and pony events, fun and exclusive Spotlight classes, and more. There is someting for every horse and rider.
Cascade shows are known for their friendly and welcoming “vibe”, and always feature abundant free hospitality. Outside the show ring you can enjoy miles of wooded trails, and there are a wealth of nearby resort activities suitable for the entire family.
We are proud to bring hunter jumper competition to a broader audience by offering USHJA Outreach classes in our July and September shows. And throughout the season, every competitor in our rated events is eligible for our annual Cascade Circuit Cup championships.
Please join us at one of our upcoming events soon!
Cascade Horse Shows was founded by passionate women horse-sport enthusiasts who resolved to bring back the days of fun, family-friendly competition to the Pacific Northwest. From our very first Swiftwater Invitational, Cascade shows offer unique exhibitor-focused experiences that are welcoming for elite riders and beginners alike.
While producing our shows requires a large team of dedicated individuals working together, they are all guided by our Cascade Horse Shows management team:
A founding partner of Cascade Horse Shows, Jessica drives branding, marketing and partner relationships. She can often be seen on the showgrounds interacting with exhibitors, trainers, and vendors. When not busy with the shows, she enjoys competing on her jumper Retro Girl.
Jennifer is our competitions manager and has been an avid supporter of Cascade Horse Shows since its inception. In addition to over 25 years working many aspects of the hunter jumper industry, she also serves as huntsman for the Woodbrook Hunt Club.
Lauren is our talented show secretary, managing entries and ensuring that our events operate according to the rules set forth by the USEF and other competition authorities. She can always be found in our Show Office (with assistant secretary Nancy Gannon), coolly solving problems with a smile.
Adam manages grounds activities for our shows and coordinates closely with the Horse Park staff to keep our events running smoothly. He is often seen on the showgrounds "making things happen", with a ready smile for everyone.
Gary runs the Cascade Horse Shows web site and internal IT systems. He also works with Jessica on company communications and captures the many wonderful photographs seen in our marketing and social media posts. You will frequently see him around the arenas "dual wielding" his professional cameras—but don‘t worry, he’ll make you look fabulous!
A founding partner of Cascade Horse Shows, Nancy is our finance and operations manager, working diligently behind the scenes to ensure that that your prize winnings (and our staff salaries) are paid. When not on the showgrounds, she enjoys time with her grandchildren and her hunter Winter.
Andrea is a founding partner of Cascade Horse Shows and has been managing hunter jumper shows in Washington State for over 30 years. Today she serves in an advisory role, continuing to help us create great showing experiences for you (when she is not herself showing in Grand Prix events up and down the west coast).
