Hunter Derby

Style. Brilliance. Beauty. The Derby is the signature event for hunters, challenging them with elegant course designs inspired by the traditional fox hunt. Jumps and obstacles are given more natural appearances, and the entrants are judged on style, conformation, and mastery of “handy” technique.

Grand Prix

Fast. Accurate. Thrilling. The Grand Prix is the signature event in show jumping, challenging horses and riders with huge jumps, tight turns, and timed competition. Clear first round competitors return for the penultimate “jump off” competition, where those fastest on their hooves take your breath away as you cheer them on.

Cascade DerbyCross™

This Cascade Horse Show exclusive is a combined event which marries the style and handiness of a hunter derby with the fast pace and athleticism of a jumper speed round. This fan-favorite event challenges riders and their horses to exhibit their full range of equestrian skills. Both hunter and jumper courses must be completed back-to-back without dismounting.
