Announcing the 2023 Cascade Circuit Cup Champions

Each year we host the Cascade Circuit Cup Awards: season championships bestowed upon the horses accumulating the most points in one of 5 categories over our rated show circuit.

This season the competition was excellent and the winners deserving, and we are thrilled to announce our 2023 Cascade Circuit Cup Champions

Drumroll please… ✨

Presented by Brick Road Farms

17-year-old Holsteiner gelding
Owned and ridden by Lauren Hoyt
Trained by Marybeth Davis

Cascade hunter derbies challenge both horse and rider to demonstrate brightness and pace in the hunt field, and this year’s winner did all that and more. Congratulations to Lauren Hoyt and Marybeth Davis on this strong showing by Moonstruck!

Thank you Carol Hinckley of Brick Road Farms for sponsoring this wonderful year-end award.

12-year-old Warmblood gelding
Owned and ridden by Laurel Zeeman
Trained by Amanda Gederman

To win in the high hunter division means demonstrating beautiful hunter form over fences in a variety of challenging classes. Cathmore Du Vlist, the Warmblood gelding owned and ridden by Laurel Zeeman, did just that. Congratulations Laurel Zeeman and Amanda Gelderman on Cathmore Du Vlist’s strong performance!

9-year-old Holsteiner mare
Owned, trained, and ridden by Lindsey Fletcher

Jumping 1.10m and above is when you’re considered to have hit the big times in show jumping, and this year Gracia Cantura, the Holsteiner mare owned by Lindsey Fletcher, rose to the top. Congratulations Lindsey Fletcher on Gracia Cantura’s win!

11-year-old Thoroughbred
Owned and ridden by Pam Watterson-Terry
Trained by Nancy Free and Sarah Olmsted

You’ve got to be fast, clear and completely in the zone to be a winner in the Jumpers Up To 1.05 classes. Hastings, 11-year-old Thoroughbred owned and ridden by Pam Watterson-Terry, was all those things at every show last season. Congratulations Pam Watterson-Terry, Nancy Free, and Sarah Olmsted on Hastings’ big win!

5-year-old Welsh Pony
Leased and ridden by Olivia Kibbie
Trained by Jennifer Wagner-Worley

Precise form and composure under saddle are essential to winning the low hunter divisions, and that’s what Midnight Sun, the Welsh Pony leased and ridden by Olivia Kibbie, demonstrated at every show this season. Congratulations Olivia Kibbie and Jennifer Wagner-Worley on Midnight Sun’s win!

We appreciate that you have a choice of shows to attend throughout the year. Thank you for choosing to spend time with us in the Cascades. We look forward to seeing you next seoson in Cle Elum!

Stall Reservations

Please reserve stalls for your horses and tack in advance. (We cannot accept entries without stall reservations.) Note: only trainers, their authorized agents, or individual exhibitors not affiliated with a trainer may reserve stalls. We strive to confirm all stall reservations within 7-10 business days:

RV Site and Golf Cart requests

RV site and golf cart requests are open to everyone. Keep in mind that the Horse Park has a limited number of sites with hookups, and not all sites can accommodate all types of vehicles. We assign sites based on the size and type of RV, length of stay, and date/time of request, with priority given to sponsors. We strive to meet the needs of as many people as possible, but if we cannot accommodate your request for a hookup, dry camping is always an option. If you are thinking you would like to rent a golf cart, please submit your request for one of those too.

Our shows and RV spaces consistently sell-out so please get your requests in as soon as possible! Please do not hesitate to reach out to us via email at if you have any questions or any difficulty in making your requests.

As always, we are looking forward to seeing you soon in Cle Elum!

Announcing Our 2023 Season (With Something New!)

Thank you to our wonderful community for the thrills, fun, and excitement you shared with us in 2022. We were especially touched by the warmth and generosity you showed to our new partner and competitions manager Jennifer Hansen as she took up the reins at Cascade. A quality horse show is harder to produce than it seems, and our entire management team and staff felt your appreciation, which makes the behind-the-scenes effort worthwhile.

Last season brought some welcome changes (new vendors, streamlined ring schedules, new sponsors, shorter days, yay!), as well as new Spotlight classes that many of you told us you loved. Seeing so many talented teams come together to ride the Cascade Memorial Cup for the benefit of their chosen charities was amazing. Reading the engaging essays submitted by our young junior riders for the Shannon Hendrickson Memorial Grant (presented by Sea Mountain and Chubb Insurance) was a season highlight for us.

To that end, we are eager to bring you even more in our upcoming 2023 show season. And for this new season, we are making some changes we think you’ll appreciate: We are moving the Pacific Crest Open up by two weeks to run consecutively with our Swiftwater Invitational and Alpine Preview shows, so we can now offer you three weeks of showing in June. In addition, our season-ending Cascade Finals is now extended to 4 days (USEF approval pending).

With one extra day off before the 4-day Pacific Crest Open, we plan to offer educational opportunities at the beautiful Washington State Horse Park in Cle Elum, and encourage you to explore the area, trail ride, hike, shop local businesses and of course enjoy Cascade Horse Shows hospitality!

Save these dates!

We are excited to be bringing back all the thrilling competition, generous hospitality, and the unique camaraderie you look forward to at Cascade shows. So, mark your calendars now for the most fun hunter jumper horse shows of the season!
