Cascade Finals Prize List Posted, Reservations Open

Our season-ending championship show, The Cascade Finals, is coming up September 3-6 at the Washington State Horse Park.

We are looking forward to bringing you another great showing experience this September, filled with fun and challenging classes, abundant free hospitality, and of course, that welcoming Cascade Horse Shows vibe.

Our prize list is now available for download. Entries will open via Horse Spot tomorrow, August 6th.

Stall reservations are needed before submitting entries to the show.  Make your reservations soon! We are also accepting RV site requests, golf cart requests, and hay, feed and shavings orders at this time.

Don’t miss your chance to round out your Cascade Circuit Cup Championship points total for the year. All points earned at the Finals count 1.5 times!

The Cascade Finals is a USEF rated Regional Hunter / Jumper 2 event and is approved by US Equestrian (USEF), the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA), the Washington State Hunter Jumper Association (WSHJA), and the Oregon Hunter Jumper Association (OHJA). And, for the second year running, the Cascade Finals has been named a USHJA Outreach Festival, promising even more fun and excitement.

2024 Prize Lists Posted, Entries Now Open

As we have done each year since our founding, we will again be offering top-notch USEF-rated hunter jumper competition, delivered with the legendary hospitality and all-inclusive “vibe” that Cascade shows are known for.

Reminder: Cascade Finals Entries Close August 11

There are only two more weeks to get your entries in by the close date for our exciting Cascade Finals horse show, scheduled September 7-10 at the Washington State Horse Park. This show, our final event of the season, blends our signature Cascade fun with thrilling competition and determines the winners of our Cascade Circuit Cup awards.

Our prize list is available for download, and entries will close on Friday, August 11.

For 2023, the Cascade Finals has been expanded to a full four showing days, and interest from our community has been high.

2023 Prize Lists Posted, Entries Opening This Weekend

We are pleased to announce that our 2023 prize lists have been posted!  Entries for our 2023 shows will open by Sunday, April 23 for all online portals. As a reminder, stall reservations are required before entries can be accepted. Shows do sell out, so please get your entries in soon!

Enhanced Schedule for 2023

We are excited to offer a new and enhanced schedule for 2023. Our Pacific Crest Open show, previously held mid-July, has moved up to directly follow the Swiftwater Invitational and Alpine Preview, giving you three consecutive weeks of showing beginning June 14. In addition, our season-ending Cascade Finals in September has been expanded to 4 full days and has been named a USHJA Outreach Festival event.

Cascade Finals: New Classes Added, Prize List Updated

Since announcing that we have opened stall reservations and entries for our Cascade Finals horse show, scheduled September 9-11 at the Washington State Horse Park in Cle Elum, we have continued to make improvements based on your feedback.

Today we are pleased to announce that we have added a Jumper 1.30m section to the schedule, with classes on Friday and Saturday. We have also posted a newly refreshed version of the prize list. It contains the latest schedule and updates to class entry fees and prize money. Please download the new version by clicking on the image here.

Cascade Finals Stall Reservations Open, Prize List Posted

We are excited to share that we have opened stall reservations for our Cascade Finals horse show, scheduled September 9-11 at the Washington State Horse Park. Our prize list is now available for download, and entries will open on Friday, August 12.

Since we announced that we were extending this show by an extra day, interest from our community has been high. To better accommodate everyone who may wish to join us, we have extended our closing date of entries to August 22, 2022.

Entries Now Available for the July Pacific Crest Open

We are pleased to share that we have opened entries for our 2022 Pacific Crest Open horse show scheduled for July 13-17. And as we previously announced, our prize list for this show is also now generally available.

Entries are now open through the Cascade Horse Shows web site; entries via HorseShowing.com and Equestrian Connect will be available in the coming days. Reminder: you must have reserved stalls in advance in order for your entries to be accepted. Please reserve your stalls now if you have not already done so. The closing date of entries for this show is Tuesday, June 28.

The Pacific Crest Open features both USEF Regional I (B) Hunter and Jumper 2 rated competition as well as sanctioned USHJA Outreach classes. A separate Outreach-only entry option is available.

As always, we would like to thank all of our great sponsors for helping to make this show a possibility. Our July show will feature more of our exciting spotlight events and provide everyone a fun showing opportunity this summer. As a reminder, all of rated events in July are eligible for our Cascade Circuit Championships.

Note, for the safety and welfare of our equine partners, until further notice all exhibitors are asked to follow EHV-1 protocols before and during the show. Also, please remember to stay Cascade Conscientious while enjoying any of our events.

We are pleased to announce that the prize list for our 2022 Pacific Crest Open horse show, taking place July 13-17, is now available online. As is our tradition, this show will feature both USEF Regional I (B) Hunter and Jumper 2 rated competition as well as sanctioned USHJA Outreach classes. A separate Outreach-only entry option is available.

This July show will feature more of our exciting Spotlight events and provide everyone a fun showing opportunity this summer. As a reminder, all of rated events in July are eligible for our Cascade Circuit Championships.

June Prize List Posted, Entries Open April 28

We are pleased to announce that our 2022 Prize List for June’s Swiftwater Invitational and Alpine Preview horse shows is now available for viewing or download. Entries for both shows will open on Thursday, April 28.

2022 June Prize List CoverWith new changes comes new opportunities, and for 2022 our Prize List is all-new. We have reworked it from the ground up to be clearer and easier to use, as well as cleaner and more beautiful to view. It might have taken us a little longer to publish it this year, but we hope you will find it to be worth the wait!

New Spotlight Classes for 2022

We also are excited to be offering some brand new Spotlight classes at our shows this season. In addition to fan-favorites making a welcome return such as the Luxury DerbyCross™ and the Rosé All Day Amateur Classic, we have the following new events lined up for you:

  • Cascade Memorial Cup
    The Cascade Memorial Cup (Friday, June 17) is a unique Team Hunter Derby event run in Nations Cup style. Up to 8 teams of 4 riders (1 professional and 3 juniors/amateurs) will ride to honor someone special who has recently passed. A memorial dedication will be read along with team biographies. Prize money will be distributed 50%, 30%, 10% to the charities named by the top 3 teams.
  • Jumpernite Rider Relay
    Starfire Farms is bringing their signature Jumpernite excitement to Cle Elum! The Jumpernite Rider Relay (Friday, June 24) is a rotating pair Table III jumper speed round for teams of two riders. The entire course must be jumped twice in the correct order while rotating between team members, with a switch required at every fault. At least one switch is mandatory, but competitors may rotate as often as they wish through the course.
